Privacy Statement Ammodo Foundation

The Ammodo Foundation (Stichting Ammodo with its registered office in Amsterdam at Herengracht 600 and registered in the Commercial Register under number 50828282) (hereinafter ‘Ammodo’) is committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG).
This Privacy Statement is intended for all individuals whose personal data is processed by Ammodo, for example individuals who receive newsletters from Ammodo and those who apply to Ammodo for jobs.

Controller
Ammodo is known as a ‘Controller’ within the meaning of the AVG. This means that Ammodo decides which of your personal data is processed, for what purpose and how that happens. Ammodo is responsible for ensuring that your personal data is processed in accordance with AVG and in a proper and careful manner.

Personal data
Ammodo processes personal data within the meaning of the AVG. Personal data is all data that provides information about an identifiable individual. For example:

– Basic information such as your first name and your surname, your initials, title;

– Contact information such as your email address, postal address and telephone number;

– Personal information you provide to us when attending meetings or events, such as special requirements and needs regarding accessibility and diet;

– Personal information you provide to us for the purpose of applying for a job, such as your first name and surname, date of birth, address, telephone number, nationality, marital status and any other personal data included in your application;

– All other personal information concerning you which you provide to us or that we obtain in connection with the purposes and on the basis of the accounting policies listed below.

If you fill in a contact form, an application form or a registration form on our website, or send us an e-mail, the data you send us is saved for as long as is necessary given the nature of the form or the content of your email in order for us to respond properly.

Purposes of processing personal data
Ammodo uses your contact information for:
– marketing and business development activities, such as newsletters, invitations to our events and other marketing communications that may be of interest to you;

– the appropriate handling of your job-application or registration for one of our events.

Basis for the processing of personal data
Ammodo is required to base the use of your personal data on one or more of the bases allowed under the AVG. The AVG allows, amongst other things, the processing of personal data if this is done with your consent.

Sharing of personal data
In certain cases, we may share your personal data with third parties such as external suppliers in connection with the processing of your personal data for the purposes set out in this Privacy Statement. Such third parties may include ICT providers, suppliers of communication services or other suppliers to whom we outsource certain support services.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track how users use the Website and how effective our AdWords advertisements are on Google search result pages. The resulting information, including the address of your computer (IP address) is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Please read Google’s privacy policy for more information, as well as the specific privacy policies of Google Analytics.
Google uses this information to track how our website is used, to provide us with reports on the website and to enable it to offer its advertisers information about the effectiveness of their campaigns. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. We have no influence over this. We have not given our consent to Google to use any of the analytics information it gains for other Google services.

MailChimp
We use MailChimp to send our newsletters. The resulting information, including the address of your computer (IP address) is transferred to and stored by MailChimp on servers in the United States. Please read the privacy policy of MailChimp for more information.
MailChimp uses this information to track how newsletters are used in order to provide us with reports about the newsletters and to give its advertisers information about the effectiveness of their campaigns. MailChimp may provide this information to third parties if MailChimp is legally required to do so, or where such third parties process the information on behalf of MailChimp. We have no influence over this. We have not given our consent to MailChimp to use the information obtained for other MailChimp services.

Use of cookies
We make use of cookies for the provision of electronic services. A cookie is a small file that is sent along with pages from our website and stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer. We use cookies to enable us to remember your settings and preferences. You can disable these cookies via your browser. An explanation of how to do this is provided, for example, by the Consumers Association.

Through our website cookies are also placed by the US company Google, as part of its “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and get reports about how visitors use our website. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so, or if third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. We have no influence over this.

Sharing your personal data with these third parties only happens for the purposes stated in this Privacy Statement and solely on the basis set out in this Privacy Statement.
Third parties to whom we disclose your personal data are themselves responsible for compliance with privacy legislation. Ammodo is neither responsible nor liable for the processing of your personal data by these third parties. To the extent that a third party processes your personal data in the capacity of a processor for Ammodo, Ammodo has entered into a processors agreement with such third party which meets the requirements set out in the AVG.
Ammodo does not intend to transfer your personal data outside the EU or to an international organisation.

Security personal data
Ammodo wants your personal data to be as safe as possible. Ammodo has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent the loss of your personal data or any unlawful processing.

Retention periods for personal data
Ammodo stores your personal data in accordance with the AVG no longer than is necessary for the purpose of processing.
Your personal data is processed until the moment that you inform Ammodo that you no longer wish to receive digital messages from us and/or Ammodo stops circulating newsletters, invitations to events or other digital mailings.

Your data will be deleted if:
– it appears that your email address is no longer in use (for example, when error messages are received);

– your personal data is being processed and/or stored with your consent and you withdraw that consent.

Your Privacy Rights
You have the right of access to your personal data and the right to request that it be corrected or deleted. A request to inspect and/or correct data can be made by giving written notice to the Stichting Ammodo, Herengracht 600, 1017 CJ Amsterdam, the Netherlands or by email to info@Ammodo.org.

You have the right to withdraw consent at any time for any particular process. Underneath each digital mailing you receive from Ammodo you will find a link, ‘unsubscribe’, which you can use to change your email preferences.

Finally, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Authority for Personal Data.

Changes
Ammodo may amend this privacy statement from time to time. You can read our current privacy statement on this website at any time. We recommend that you do this regularly, and certainly at any time that you provide Ammodo with your personal data.
