Call for nominations Ammodo Science Award for groundbreaking research 2024

The nomination period for the Ammodo Science Award for groundbreaking research 2024 has started.

Truly innovative research requires courage, talent and teamwork. The Ammodo Science Award for groundbreaking research rewards high-quality research which could potentially lead to a breakthrough in its field, and which is being carried out collectively.

The Award is a vote of confidence. Research groups that have proven themselves internationally are given the space and freedom to take the next step and ask the exciting questions that could lead to a new breakthrough.

Moreover, the prize fund has been increased to €4.8 million. For the first time, in 2024 an Award will be presented in each of the four scientific domains: Biomedical Sciences, Humanities, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences. Each rector may nominate a ‘team of the future’ in each domain. The nomination period runs until 6 October 2023.
